4.1 Classified according to use:

Type P1 Ordinary particleboard used in the dry state;

Type P2 Furniture type particleboard used in the dry state;

Type P3 Dry, load-bearing particleboard;

Type P4 Heavy duty particleboard for use in a dry condition;

Type P5 General purpose particleboard for use in wet conditions;

Type P6 Furniture particleboard for use in wet conditions;

Type P7 Load-bearing particleboard for use in wet conditions;

Type P8 Heavy duty particleboard for use in wet conditions;

Type P9 General purpose particleboard for use in high humidity conditions;

Type P10 Furniture particleboard for use in high humidity conditions;

Type P11 Load-bearing particleboard for use in high humidity conditions;

 Screw Holding

 Except for P1 type particleboard, the Screw Holding of all other types of boards shall be not less than 900 N for the face and 600 N for the edge.

Note: Screw Holding can be determined directly for specimens with thickness not less than 15 mm, if the thickness of specimen is less than 15 mm, only Screw Holding shall be determined for the surface of specimen, in this case two or more specimens can be glued together to form one specimen so that the total thickness of specimen is not less than 15 mm.
